Meeting Notes
Tuesday November 4th: Handed out Science Olympiad Event packets to each student. Members are to complete the Google Form found below by next meeting (Tuesday November 11th). Announced practices/meetings will take place each Tuesday morning starting at 7:30. Students will also use specified school time for Science Olympiad projects. Students need to pick up Anatomy & Physiology, Bio-Process Lab and Solar System events (these were missing from the packet handed out today.)
Tuesday November 11th: Students were to collect the three events that were not attached to the original events packet. (Solar System, Bio-Process Lab, Anatomy & Physiology) Goals for today: Students organized resource binders located in the Science Prep room. Students created binders that were not present for events this year and moved other binders that are not needed. The goal is to have one resource binder per event. Next meeting is on Tuesday November 18th. Students will be organized into events based on their responses posted on the Google Form.
Tuesday November 18th: Science Olympiad meeting canceled due to the participation of students traveling to Ball State.
Tuesday November 25th: Students were to take a photo of the assignment board. This board lists the groups placed in each event. Students were to begin discussing their designated event with their group as well as begin planning. Students were reminded they are able to work in the Science Prep room during study hall days in AR Zone when all their work is completed. All resources and materials for events are to be completed before Holiday Break. Permission slip for the field trip to the Science and Industry museum is due on Tuesday December 2nd with admission fee of $11.50.
